Hyperactive dreamers are not people who are highly creative but have ADHD. What causes their strengths (gifts) at the same time causes ADHD like symptoms (inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity). An emotional characteristic which makes them appear uninterested and incapable, can at the same time make them especially creative. But this does not make them have ADHD.

Minds of hyperactive dreamers function differently – their specific life outlook leads to a different way of perceiving, contemplating, understanding and reacting to the world. Such difference is created by their main personality traits – emotional zest, daydreaming, conceptual thinking and hyperactivity. In short, hyperactive dreamers function in a healthy, normal BUT different way.
